Why I DON'T Recommend Eye Cream

Do you really need a separate, expensive eye cream in your anti-aging routine? Top facial plastic surgeon Dr. Amir Karam explains why the answer is likely no. While the delicate eyelid skin needs powerful anti-aging ingredients, many facial products are too harsh, forcing you to buy a separate formula. Dr. Karam debunks this common industry practice, arguing that one well-formulated product should be gentle enough for the entire face, neck, and eyes, simplifying your routine and saving you money. 1. Fumes and the moisturizers themselves get in the eyes and irritate them. Plenty of products that are good for the skin are NOT good for your eyeballs. This is why separate products are needed for moisturizing near the eyes. Very simple.

  2. For me personally I still use eye cream. The moisturizer I was using messed up my eyes. The brand Farmacy has great skin care products I use them for everything

  3. I have used eye creams that have all these ingredients and I get bumps around my eyes I do have combination/ oily skin what shall I do? I get bumps around eyes when sometimes I don’t apply anything why does this happen?
